The Pickled Filly
The Pickled Filly is a bespoke vintage horse float with an art deco face-lift. Situated in Hervey Bay. Roaming the Wide Bay, Burnett area and Sunshine Coast. This rustic but chic mobile bar arrives fully equipped with everything you need including the best glassware and elite RSA qualified bar staff.
The bar has been custom finished with sleek stainless steel and a handcrafted local hardwood bar top. The addition of mini chandeliers in the interior gives a sophisticated edge. The exterior is a beautiful contrast of gloss black vintage pressed tin panels against a matt black finish and earthy tones from the wood surrounding the bar. The added custom built hardwood sign hangs from crafted wrought iron hand made by a local blacksmith. The luxe black makes the bar so versatile, it can be styled with any colour scheme.
It operates completely “off the grid” so can literally go anywhere!

Whether it's a rustic wedding or super sleek event, we cater to your party needs and can work with your other suppliers to customise the look.
A beautiful addition to complement your next function or event, she arrives fully equipped with everything you need for a soirée, including only the best glassware and staff. We are in love with our cut crystal vintage champagne coupes and our signature matt black glass champagne coupes just for the wedding party. We also have polished gold champagne coupes just for the lovers!
Our highly trained team provide professional service with a smile. From the luxe bar, to the bar staff, glassware and mood lighting - every aspect of your bar is taken care of. All you supply are the alcohol and mixers! We can even style ourselves to blend with your theme.

Services & Pricing
What we offer is simple.
You pay for a 4 hour package based on up to 80 people.
This price includes:
4 hours of service
2 RSA qualified bar staff members
a fully equipped bar
glassware hire, ice and garnishes
rubbish and empty bottle removal
delivery, setup and pack down of the bar outside of your 4 hrs of bar service
our basic styling (we can work with your florist as well)
our hardwood self-serve water station
drinks menu
After the 4 hours if your soirée is kicking on we charge an hourly rate per staff member to stay.
Of course, cocktail service is available as well!
We can even arrange a self service bar for after we leave.
If it’s a wedding we can work with your florist to carry your style and theme across to the bar. Our beautiful matt black bar with gloss black pressed tin panels is so versatile and makes any colours pop!
No party is too big or small and we can come up with a package that meets your needs.

Our Story
Old school hospitality is where it's at! With years of experience in the events industry, we know the level of service, fun and vibe you and your guests should receive.
It was the beautiful backdrop of Northern NSW and the Hinterland of Byron Bay that inspired The Pickled Filly. Now situated in beautiful Hervey Bay it will start its new journey for Corporate,Private events and the vibrant wedding scenes.
